The 2020-2021 high school basketball season is in the books, and Linglestown Gazette Sports has once again compiled lists of players from throughout the greater Harrisburg area of the Mid-Penn Conference who will make up our fourth annual boys and girls LG Sports FAB15 all-star teams. Our panel assessed players based on both offensive and defensive prowess, along with the intangible contributions they brought to their teams. Five-member panels (one each for boys and girls), comprised of individuals with extensive knowledge of the area’s players, came together to make the selections. They met at the conclusion of the regular season, and used very few outside sources to assist in compiling the lists. The assessments were made primarily from sitting in gyms and watching basketball. No member of the Linglestown Gazette Sports staff had any greater influence over the process than did any other panel members. Majority ruled, and in the case of ties there were thorough discussions amongst all members to decide who we ultimately felt deserved the recognition. Players were selected from District 3-member teams who represent Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth, Keystone, and Capital divisions schools. We’ve found that the majority of Linglestown Gazette Sports’ supporters are associated with the student-athletes who compete out of the programs represented in these three divisions. They are as follows….Bishop McDevitt – Camp Hill – Carlisle – Cedar Cliff – Central Dauphin – Central Dauphin East – Chambersburg – Cumberland Valley – East Pennsboro – Harrisburg – Hershey – Lower Dauphin – Mechanicsburg – Middletown – Milton Hershey – Palmyra – Red Land – Steelton-Highspire – Susquehanna Township – Trinity. Below are the links for our FAB15 all-star teams, along with the NEXT12 (Honorable Mention) and FUTURES (Up-and-Coming Freshmen and Sophomores).
